FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Third Annual I Love 11th Neighborhood Festival Returns to the Heights.
Free, family-friendly celebration of the 11th Street corridor on June 6.
HOUSTON, TX — [May 28, 2026] — A Tale of Two Bridges will host the third annual I Love 11th Neighborhood Festival on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 301 W 11th Street in the Heights. The free, family-friendly event brings neighbors together to celebrate the people, businesses, and culture that define the Heights.
Attendees can expect local food and drink, live music, small business and artisan vendors, community organizations, family activities, and programming highlighting the area’s trail connections. The festival is organized around seven themes — love, food, shop, parks, music, art, and bike — reflecting the neighborhood’s identity along the 11th Street corridor.
I Love 11th Street Founder Emmanuel Nunez commented “The festival is really a celebration of what happens when neighborhoods are designed around people and community. 11th Street has become a corridor where local businesses, trails, and public life intersect, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum.”
The festival is produced by A Tale of Two Bridges, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to conserving, expanding, and enhancing multi-use urban trails. Its mission promotes economic empowerment and environmental conservation through infrastructure that supports walking, bicycling, inline skating, and wheelchair use.
2026 sponsors include Serif Marketing (Platinum); Regions Bank (Gold); Constable Allan Rosen Precinct 1, Buchanan’s Native Plants, Tim Surratt, and Beth & Ammad Bahalim (Silver); and a wide range of bronze, community, and neighborhood pride sponsors. A full sponsor list is available at ilove11th.org.
Vendors, performers, and sponsors interested in participating can apply at ilove11th.org. Tickets and additional event details are also available on the site.
